Nah.
Rtings. Shows 7.5 that's low for 3K TV. đ
Get Hisense U7N 2K 100 inch in Costco. Better 8.2 rtings review.
A few things wrong here...The Hisense 100U70N (Costco) is not the same as the regular U7N Mini-Led... so that Rtings 8.2 Review does not apply. The U70N/U76N Series (Costco) is NOT mini-led, has 800 nits brightness, and 256 dimming zones. Currently, the largest U7N Mini-Led is 85", and it has over 600 dimming zones, and 1300+ nits brightness. Next, the Q80C Rtings review you reference is for an ADS/IPS panel, and the 98" has a VA panel. Since Rtings favors VA panels in their review structure, the 98" Q80C will rate higher than their review suggests, and the Hisense 100U70N will rate less than the U7N Rtings review since it's an entirely different (lesser) model.
I have the 65" version of this TV (Q80C) in a bedroom. Electronic Express had the 55" and the 65" models' prices reversed in the store, and they honored their mistake. I got it for a $1,000 last spring. It's not as good as my OLED in the living room obviously, but a 98" OLED would probably be over 10,000 dollars. I like my Q80C a lot. It's paired with a Samsung soundbar using Q-Harmony. The picture is very bright and clear. The reviews in my opinion don't do this TV justice. I bought my mom a TCL Q7 based on the reviews being better than the Q80C. That was a mistake. The picture is about the same at first glance, but the motion handling is far better on the Samsung for fast-action sports, and there just aren't as many problems in general. For example, my mom's eARC constantly stops working and the audio output defaults to TV speakers. It has happened 20 times in the last 6 months. It has never happened once with this Samsung. This is a much better TV overall than a TCL Q7 in my experience.

In my opinion there is no comparison if you are comparing same screen sizes. These TVs are insanely bright, like 10x brighter.
You can actually see HDR. You turn the lights on and still see.
If you are comparing a 100 vs 135 the screen sizes are vastly different, so it is possible the screen size might trump other things.
But I would still recommend the miniled TVs. U8K, UX, QM8 series etc. if you want better TVs. The non mini leds have less bright, less contrast, more blooming to name a few.

Literally nothing about this TV stands out vs the TCL or Hisense counterparts that could justify the Samsung Name Tax.
