Is there a window of time after joining Xfinity that you still qualify for new customer promos? I believe T-Mobile considers you a "new customer" for up to 30 days after joining, allow you to qualify for promos like this on lines that didn't upgrade. Is Xfinity similar?

I meant $0 off for existing customers, probably worded that poorly. Yes they are offering trade in values but they're not anything special. In fact it's lower than Best Buy offered without even buying a new phone.
Check your Xfinity app offer, I think most people got $200 bill credit for current customers, no new line required.

I'm thinking about this myself. But you also need to subscribe to the Unltd Premium plan. And it is not confirmed if you can drop that down to by-the-gig plan after the trade-in is processed and still get the credits.

Update: Just found a post in the Comcast_Xfinity subreddit where the Mobile rep posted some details of the promos, and the last line says [reddit.com]

"If customer downgrades to a lower tier data plan, they will lose the remaining bill credits"

Oof, f that!
It allows me to choose Unlimited intro for $20 a month which is what I'm paying for the iPhone 13 max I'm using now, since I have 2 other phones. Unlimited premium is $30 for me but it doesn't look like I have to select it.

I don't think so. But I just stopped by the Xfinity store and talked to the manager about swapping esims between the new one and an existing one and he said he could do it. The plan is to get the wife the new 16, using her 13 as a $830 trade in with a new nuneber. Before I go in I'll have to transfer the existing esim to a spare phone I have, then the 13 will be able to be traded in. Once I'm at the store I'll buy the new 16, get a new esim number on it, and use the 13 for the trade in credit. Then he will swap the esims for me and the wife will have the new 16.

Nope. Been with Xfinity Mobile for years and this is the first time I recall $0 offers for existing customers. Between this and Apple Intelligence (the flagship feature) not available? I'm not biting.

I did look at other carriers which have the "iPhone on us" deals but they are all like twice the price for unlimited. I'm paying $100/month for four lines for unlimited basic with XM but T-Mobile was $225. No thanks.
Here is for existing customers. Not great but better than nothing

No. I just spent 30 minutes reading forums to see if I can do this.
Short answer : NO
Longer answer Xfinity only allows one Xfinity account per phone even though iPhones can support two numbers. You can get around this if one number is from another carrier. Which doesn't help me, and I suspect doesn't help you either.

That is if you don't trade in a phone. If you trade in a phone it's $1000

Looks like I can trade in my Iphone 13 max for a iPhone 16 max for $200. Does that seem worth it?
What is your phone's condition? I got the full $1000 for an iPhone 13

Just added a line using a Total line from the Razr deal. $400 off w/o trade in. Perfect scenario to finally take advantage of T-Mobile Keep and switch.
What?

When I went to the store, the associate called their customer service to check on swap, and we were told that there is a chance that post swap, the device credit might drop off. I didnt want to risk it and didnt go through with it. Are you sure swapping wont impact device credit?

You're also paying a lot more for Verizon service so they can afford to subsidize the phone more.
Xfinity Mobile is not that cheaper if at all, my Verizon line Unlimited is $42 after tax per month, which includes free North America Roaming, if I travel I can upgrade to the $52 plan and I get coverage in most of the world then change back after I am home.

Xfinity Unlimited is $36 per month per line, which sounds cheaper, however any single day roaming is $10 per day, you can easily spend more by using Xfinity Mobile if you say travel abroad 2 weeks a year.

I did that on iPhone 13, you can visit the store, ask to make old line transfer from eSIM to physical.

After I get home I put the physical SIM to the iPhone 13, where the new line is an eSIM, after a bit on Xfinity Mobile website it asked me to "bind the phone" or something, then both SIM are on the same iPhone 13 and can both call and receive text.

I suppose it is a bit complicated as after 14 all are eSIM only, you may be able to do an eSIM transfer between phones if they are on the same iCloud account.

The manager I spoke to said that I would still get the credits. I explained exactly what I wanted to do and he was on board with it.

Also, technically, both the line and the phone will both still be active on the account for the duration of the 24 credits.

FWIW, in my personal experience I have a device that is on bill credits where I actually traded in the device for a different carrier promotion, and I am still getting the credits. To me that seems to indicate that the credits are tied to the line and not the device. But in this situation I want to keep the device for the full 24 months so it will then be paid off and can be unlocked at the end.

Edit: I should add that I am going to do the base 16 and not the Pro deal in this thread. The base 16 promo is offering an $830 trade in for my 13 with a new number, and doesn't require an unlimited plan on top like the Pro deal does.
