Non-owners always have a LOT to say about these – and believe me, I get it, I swore up and down I never wanted or needed one of these things. I got one as a gift two years ago and I would unequivocally say I would buy myself one now and have given a few as gifts. They just WORK and are perfect for a slow coffee drinker, like myself. For the record, I only opened the app once, I don't need to futz with temps after one setting.

My main tip, though: do not waste your time/money/coffee on anything less than the 14 ounce, the 10 ounce is just TOO little.

In my experience the warranty isn't the best. Have the Mug2 and lid broke when I pressed it in after a few months. Had to practically beg for them to do a one time exception and send me a replacement after sending pictures and videos of broken lid. Still had receipt and within 1 year of ownership.

The Gen 2 has a button on the bottom, you hold it down and it turns off.
Pro tip for my ember fam, buy a small pack of rubber coated baby spoons to stir your coffee.
Never use a regular spoon as it will chip the coating.

I bought the OG one for my wife a few years back at ~$100 because she's a slow coffee drinker and was always reheating her coffee in the microwave. She used it for maybe 2 months and into a cabinet somewhere in the kitchen it went, never to be seen again. I thought it was a great gift idea, but it apparently wasn't her jam.

Seems most people who own one like them. I own one and I don't, unfortunately. The 14oz is the largest size they offer and I realized even that's too small. Note that the cup is 14oz, but nobody fills it to the brim unless they want coffee spilling out when they walk it to the desk. So it's really more like 12oz, which isn't very much coffee. Mine is currently sitting in a box in the garage and I'm just using a Yeti insulated mug/cup.

The regular mug didn't do much for me since I drink reasonably fast, and there's enough thermal density in a mug of hot water.

If you like espresso, the espresso warming cup is a game changer, as it allows you to sip your espresso and enjoy it over time without it turning lukewarm in 1-2 minutes.

I have 2 of them sitting in their boxes in another box lol I think they are the original ones, travel mug and then the regular mug. Just too finnicky with touching here to turn off and it doesn't turn off, etc.
