It is a great deal at that price. It isn't perfect, but does enough of the little things right to stand apart from other open world games.

As far as I know Amazon does not sell grey market keys (maybe from a 3rd party). Thats why I said legit because there are a number of legit keysellers. Edit: I was wrong about the sale but there was one not long ago so prices seem to be mirrored them to some degree.

I bought Horizon Zero Dawn last Nov during one of gamebillet's flash sales when they had it priced at $9.60. Just be aware, they added VAT and misc fees on top so it cost me $9.98 in total.

$12.49 currently on Steam website, so easier to buy directly from them

A remaster has just been leaked, in case that influences your decision to buy or not.

Why would a 2017 game need a remaster?

Edit: it was a legit question, and seems I'm not the only one asking:

This remaster is sure to spark a vociferous debate about whether it's needed in the first place, not just because Horizon Zero Dawn remains one of the most impressive-looking PlayStation games around, but because it received a PS5 update in 2021 that added a 60 frames per second mode and 4K checkerboard resolution.

How is that easier? Amazon just gives you a code to redeem. It's one extra step to save $1.50

This same question could be (and has been) asked about any number of other games over the last 10 years, many of them from Sony. Doesn't really matter whether it needs one or not, if they're doing it, they're doing it.

It's likely a similar situation to the Last of Us Part 1 Remake. It came about as a way to keep devs busy in between major projects.

Yeah but it does matter for this post because the other commenter is saying one might reconsider getting the game now since there's a remaster around the corner.

If the remaster is unwarranted then this deal gets to keep it's slickness.
