Nice find. Crazy that ordering a whole new kit is less $ than a replacement blade

these are garbage and makes a huge mess eveyrwhere.

Buy the one that has built in VACUUM which sucks in and keeps 95% of the hair and you just toss it in dust bin and great for use at home for whole family without a messy hairy floor.
Hmmm. Tried and true for years. Cutting hair is messy. That's the way it goes.

your home DOESN'T HAVE TO LOOK like a sheepfarm or a barber shop.

Buy the the ones that has built in vacuum which keeps 95% of hair for mess free use. Like this https://www.target.com/p/remingto...lsrc=aw.ds
The same brand used to make a cordless version of this but they discontinued it . I have both versions. the cordless part failed but I plug in wall and cut my son's hair and my wife cut's my hair. mess free. save lots of time and money going to a barbershop every month.

Your home doesn't have to look like a pottery barn catalogue 100% of the time. You can save $40 by buying th walmart one and then... vacuuming after using it?

Nothing from Walmart is worth $38.

From experience, these are loud. Not sure if it's a concern for very many people but yeah

I understand the concept of what you're saying. The device you linked has more components (internal vacuum, chamber, etc) that could fail in the long term and is almost 5x the cost of this one. I've been cutting my own hair with a similar Wahl model with no issues at all. Using a vacuum to clean up my bathroom floor for 30-45 seconds is not a huge deal to me either

To each their own though - everyone has different preferences for personal hygiene

Pros and cons. Yes the vacuum is a nice feature but the cons are price, limited guide sizing (seems proprietary), and with all those functions durability is a concerns.

Personally I prefer cordless bc I cut my hair in the shower to avoid a mess.

Or when I don't, I do it above the sink with a barrel on the side and shake the clipper over the barrel and "most" of the hair falls in with little mess.

Cheers

How easy are these to use to cut your own hair?
