I purchased the blue fold6 1tb about 3weeks ago for $741 including taxes - traded in fold4($1000 TIV), edu discount and a referral disc. Saved from the hassle of selling fold4 which didnt open full.

Edit - tried the cashback but the cb site that starts with r, hasn't yet issued the cb and it says pending, so if that comes through would get an additional $70ish back for the 10%cb, making this about $670ish.. guess an even sweeter deal.
CB has a catch, last time they clearly mentioned no use of any other promotions that isn't from their site. Hopefully, wish it is not this time.

EWWW Huawei..... they stole the technology from Samsung
Samsung never has any phone folding outward. This phone utilizes hinges folding both inward and outward. Or are you trying to say that they stole something that you're not capable of making?

Yeah, good deal if you were looking for a 1TB. Unfortunately, I can't think of a use for the 1TB, at least for me. Would have preferred the 256 or 512GB version for $200-300 cheaper.
My 256GB was $983.12 without trade in just a few hours ago.

son of a...guess I'm cancelling and setting up yet another samsung account Smilie

I have an experience to share. I had bought one of the Surface Duo phones when they went on fire sale.
I took it on an extended trip as my only device, thinking I could use it for productivity. And not worry about where to keep a laptop safe etc.
Well, long story short, an 8" screen still isn't anywhere near large enough to do anything work related. Even email and document editing is a pain at that size. It was a waste of time.

just keep it, as 2 generations fold owner (3rd and 4th) I'll tell you, it wont last long, a year, maybe 1.5, especially if you live in hot climate, first it will stop unfolding fully, then, possible screen-power problems like mine did, $550 fix (outer screen replacement, and they weren't sure if that was the case)
So the fold line isn't of high quality?

Not going to even consider Chinese phones. Like setup for C2C and other government controlled activities.

Will do. Checked Fold 6 at a local Best Buy. Great phone, but thought that the thing in the middle would bother me eventually. They didn't have Pixel 9 Folds on display. Have 12 days to test it, will let you know

I dont know why samsung gimp the camera on these. Should have the same camera system as the s24 ultra
Yeah, cameras are very important to me, so this is a no go for unfortunately. I also tried both the fold 6 and the S24 ultra at my local BestBuy, and while the fold does have a wow factor when you open it, the S24 ultra is just so much more practical and feels great in the hand. If you don't open the fold 6 and use it like a normal slab phone, it doesn't feel that good at all, especially compared to the S24 ultra. So it definitely feels amazing when you open it, but comes with some serious compromises vs the S24 ultra. In the end, for me a phone is more about the practicality of daily use (includes taking tons of photos of family), so the fold will have to be on hold for now, or at least until they bring camera parity to it in a future iteration.

Are you using P9PFold now? Coming from P8P, how does it feel in the hand for long periods as it weigh 44 grams more.

Can you fit a computer into your pocket, make phone calls, and take high quality pictures with ut? And comes with IP48 rating?
Don't tell him you can get a usb-c to hdmi adapter/usb hub and actually use it as a computer, complete with keyboard and mouse; might blow his mind

its good, it just has some really bad weak spots or should I say, the folding technology itself (hinge, inner screen (waaay expensive, look at the price for inner screen assembly...$550, plus labor, you can buy new phone just for that))
