I had every Z Fold since Fold 3. Fold 6 is the best one in every aspect. I did end up getting the Pixel 9 Pro Fold and sold the Fold 6 only because I never had a Google phone and want to try something different. Part of me miss the Z Fold 6. It's faster. I'm just so used to it. Can't go wrong at this price. My gosh.
Really? I also had 3 generations of Galaxy fold, I don't see any difference between Fold4 and Fold6, only reason I got is because spectrum had crazy deals. Also had 2 generations of ultra, fold is aright, I mean even on Fold 6 outer screen is pretty much use less. I really want to try try Google fold pro 9, but they are more expensive than fold 6.

My $717 S24 Ultra is supposed to arrive today, but I'm really tempted to get this now. Anyone know if Samsung's return/exchange policy for unopened devices?

This is crap compared to the new huawei trifold

Apology for the rant... I'm just super disappointed at this phone as far as how badly it was outclassed by the new Huawei trifold
Come on. If you actually own a Fold then you MUST know how not all apps are compatible with the Fold. Let's say you own a Fold for the sake of argument. How many app developers do you envision making their app work for the trifold?

And that's not even stepping into price point

Skip that Skipping Care+ idea. You'll want it with a Fold. It's worth the cost if something happens.

Crazy price for a gimmick with a crease. People must have stupid money to burn. Either that or poor, financed and in which case wont be paid for anyway.
stop looking at it with your distorted lens, maybe things will make some sense, or less annoying to you even if it doesn't make sense? lol

if you haven't used a foldable phone, and/or don't have plans to do so in the future, that's all fine and dandy. If other people are paying premium price for something, it's either they can afford to try out new things or, IT MUST BE AWESOME. Stop being grumpy. Maybe you work too much to be able to afford what you have in your life. Take a break. Big GrinBig Grin

major apps are actually optimized for the large screen. Even when it isn't optimized, it's still pretty usable. Not a huge deal breaker unless you like to download 1000 unoptimized apps to try out every week for no apparent reason.

You could but millions on preorder, and the wait-list is months. So you'll have to relocate for several months in China!

I feel the Fold 6 is about as refined as it gets if samsung wants to stay in this form factor. It's more refined than P9PF for sure. The P9PF after a week of usage is a normal phone that can unfold into a tablet. I don't open it as much. Because of that the battery is lasting so much longer. It's not uncommon for me to end the day at 40%. The Z Fold always feels like a tablet that can unfold into a cover screen for quick access. I usually unfold it unless I'm just making a call or quick text. Ultimately, I would go with the cheaper one. My work allows me to write off cellphone bills using pretax pay. The P9PF is bought with $500 off and monthly bill credit through Xfinity Mobile. I can write the whole thing off so I'm kind of getting the Pixel Fold at about $800 consider tax savings.

hmm.... pay $1037.50 with this current deal, or use a certain cashback website to get 10% back from $1087.50.. that $108.75 cash back seems just as tempting...

Edit : for this deal to work with that certain cashback site, you have to download the app.

Samsung never has any phone folding outward. This phone utilizes hinges folding both inward and outward. Or are you trying to say that they stole something that you're not capable of making?

So typical of them... I wouldn't be caught dead with a Huawei in fear of being laughed at by my friends.
