For those of you who are unfamiliar with Greentoe, they are essentially a broker. The products you buy are from authorized retailers, include receipts, and prices include tax and shipping.

In Texas, this deal equals paying $1293 plus tax and free shipping. Slick.

No. RTINGs got a bad one and actually updated their review a few days ago to clear things up: https://i.imgur.com/t8YiZM3.png

The gist of it is that it's something of a panel lottery (that they lost) and it's not new to this year's model. You're just as likely to have the issue with a C2 or C3. Everyone just decided that it was a fact that C4s have green panels and started repeating it.

FWIW, I have absolutely no perceptible green tint from any angle on my C4.

Based on this thread, they're a sort of clearinghouse and you actually end up buying it through an authorized LG retailer who you find out after the fact

G3 price is decent but still not as good as BB price of $2249 a few months back which included free stand while it lasted. But of course, you can't time travel…

Got my 77" G3 last week I bought from Greentoe, of course for more than this but that's just how electronics go. The buying process was pretty easy. And there was no tax for me at least. That's another 8.8% savings over best buy.

How long is shipping looking like? I'm going out of town for 9 days and trying to time a purchase to when I'm definitely back home to accept delivery

Depends on where you are. I'm in SW MO and it took 7 business days from new Jersey. But they'll call you to schedule delivery when it hits your local delivery company. I'm sure you could push it out a few days if needed.

$1900 on greentoe for me. Beach Camera has one sale where they were$1850. But this way I pay no tax, so I actually paid less. And no need to buy separate warranty even the panel is guaranteed for 5 years.
