No they shouldn't. Just because you can't take advantage doesn't mean that they should be banned.

I can't take advantage of any Micro Center deals. I don't whine about banning the posts.

Good luck to those that can get this fan. Installed this in my laundry room and it works great.

Is this easy to replace without attic access?
No need to access attic if you have an existing vent there. My handyman had to modify the opening by trimming some wood out in order to mount the unit.

I paid $114 back in end of June and very happy with it. I didn't even know it was on at 80 cfm and up it to 110 cfm so I can hear it otherwise I may forget to turn it off as we have a separate on/off switch.

On clearance in my area, but I need one with a light unfortunately.
I was also looking for one with a light but I couldn't find one with similar specs.

electrician here. I only buy these for installations. I buy from local supply for 100 cash. Great deal at this price. but anything for new construction or with permit gotta use with a humidity sensor. it's code in california, or at least in Los angeles.
Why else would anyone buy it except to install it?

Do these have a check valve that allows air to escape only when it's on? Don't want to waste A/C

You can adjust the humidity level required to activate the fan, or disable the humidity sensor completely.

The sensor is built in if you have the same model. Not sure what your question is asking.

they are quiet. change the cfm setting to lower. or you have something stuck in the duct or not installed correctly
I have installed multiple, and they are truly very quiet. Not sure what is going on that person's install to not make it quiet...??

I'm not sure quiet fans are a good thing. Apart from the aforementioned need to cover up your farts/blowouts, I've left my quiet fan on all day without realizing it.
I have timers controlling mine. Great for airing out the bathroom after a shower.

I had fans with humidity sensors in my two bathrooms . I thought (not sure why I thought so) the contractor never wired them correctly for it to work . It never turns on by itself . For such fans you just wire them as you normally wire any other fan, and keep the switch ON always for it work ?
