Have these changed in the last 30ish years? I'm not trying to be a smart ass. Honestly, I haven't had one since I had a bad one 30+ years ago, but I haven't tried them again. I think there were only like 3-4 different options back then.

I just wanted to know if the sides were still rock hard, like crackers in an old MRE. and if the filling is still super gritty?

If they are fresh they are soft with a goey center. Unless you get a bad batch they are not what you had 30 years ago.

Has anyone ever had pop tarts shipped before, and if so, do they come super crumbled?

It says it usually ships in 1-2 months? Am I missing something? Is it really that long?

Depends on if they come with a shipment of other things, then you may get a box, if not a mylar bag and then its a serious gamble.

This is like the only item at the store that has not gone up in price over the past 20 years. I don't dare ask why this is.

Maybe not a price increase, but the last time i bought them, they were almost as thin as an Amazon shipping box. I was shocked, my kids noticed and said they were dry and I burnt them twice. We like them more crunchy, but this was…. Not like old days. Idk. Maybe I bought a specialty version, but I haven't bought since.

Amazon tends to give a longer window than they actually expect (from my experience). If they said it would be 2 weeks, and ended up being a month people would be upset, but if they say expect 1-2 months and it comes in 2 weeks people are satisfied.
