That's is true, great point. Teamgroup makes two versions of this drive both using the MaxioTech MAP1602A Falcon Lite controller, both dram-less but the MP44Q is the QLC version. The regular MP44 uses a TLC NAND flash. People should be aware because if one takes a cursory glance they look the same, but they aren't.

It will work fine, I got a $129 4tb m.2 drive from Amazon about a year ago and it's been great.
The comments about qlc and dram won't matter too much for a gaming drive since you don't write to it too often and the qlc speeds should be just fine (I think this drive is slightly faster than the drive I've been using)
