I'm guess I don't need one if I have to ask, but what is the main purpose of a jigsaw ?
you can lay a piece of wood down flat, rest the jigsaw on the edge, and start cutting in shapes that aren't quite straight. it's used a lot for art projects as well as ones that require wood cut in a circle. I'm not a professional but there's a ton of uses for a jigsaw.
I got the HP only for the support for slightly longer nails that I had a specific need for on a custom project I was working on. Have never needed that extra capability ever since. This is a good nailer and a great price!
My Home Depot app doesn't show this, but it will show under incognito mode. I've only done the hack once so I'm not sure if they flag accounts or what.
I have this jigsaw and it's impossible to get it moving in a straight line. The saw blade wants to turn when you put even the slightest pressure forward. This doesn't happen with my 2 other corded jigsaws
