Home Depot has the Ryobi 18-gauge brad nailer plus a jigsaw for $158 in the weekly deals.
This is a great brad nailer. I have this and a M18 brad nailer and used to have a DeWalt one. In my opinion, this is all round better than the DeWalt (size, ergonomics, action, loudness) and pretty much as good as the Milwaukee. $158 for the nailer alone would be a good deal, so add a jigsaw and this is pretty slick (IMO).
The brad nailer is also available with a drill, 2Ah battery and a charger for $169 [homedepot.com].

The jig saw is also a good tool that outlasted my ryobi circular saw (non-brushed). Knock on wood. I used it for a cabinet project and flooring project and it saved my bacon for diagonals that I didn't have materials on hand to build a jig to cut on a big piece of plywood, so I just clamped a straight edge and went to town with it.
