I have this and paired it with their CD slot adapter. I don't like putting tension on air vents. It works great, especially when paired with wireless Carplay or Android Auto. No cables to mess around with. Putting it in front of the AC vent is key for keeping the phone cool during use. I paid $13 for this adapter and ~$29 for the CD slot thing.

What's to stop this from cracking the vent panels or damaging the trim over time? Used stuff like this before. Twice they did damage two different cars two different products. Is this somehow different? Vents are plastic. They'll probably break

I want the dash mount model but worried about the green light being on all the time while driving at night. I don't want distracting light if i don't need to charge my phone.

I have this, and a Max - no issue in my car with this.
It holds my iPad mini no problems in a 2018 Buick enclave.

Any device (holder, charger) that blocks air flow from a vent is a fail in my opinion.

Got mine today. I agree that it might eventually bust a vent slat, although there's a thing that "distributes" the weight across several slats. Doesn't block the vent since it holds the phone out and away from the vent at any angle you choose. My biggest problem is that when it's installed you can't actually MOVE the vent to direct airflow up or down. It's locked in place. Sometimes I want air on my face. Could be a dealbreaker, will try it for a while and see how I go.

Got mine today and can tell you it will not hold a heavier phone. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and only when I have the phone at the exact right angle on the clip will it stay but any slight bump or movement and it falls right off. I would definitely stay away from this product unless you have a lighter phone with no case maybe?

Has 4.2 stars out of 5, with over 3,000 reviews. Any Slickdealers have personal experience with this charger?
Yes just used it infact have been for almost a year. You do have to squarely put your phone on mount and you'll know you did cause it really grabs your📱 I use it both for my friends iPhone and my S23 with no problems whatsoever ever

I use it in the new Forester with no problem adjusting up or down but won't let me adjust left or right

Really? Even with the phone attached? The entire assembly with my 13pro is close to a pound at least and the weight just pulls it right down. I'll mess with it a little later, maybe there's a sweet spot on a particular slat or position that balances it better. Maybe you just have greater "tension" on the duct slats. Honda Accord here.

I have this. Works well. Magnet is strong. Haven't had any issues. Just make sure you don't torque too much on the vent leaflet.

I've been using it for about a year now, it gets hot but it sits in front of the vent so it's fine. It charges my iPhone 13 Pro Max at 10ish watts. Which is fine.
My experience has been identical. I would buy again.

Does anyone use and recommend using this or other MagSafe chargers and cases with Android phones?
I have one of these for my Galaxy S23 Ultra. The case I have has a built in magnet ring. The phone holder works really well. Really strong, never falls off when I'm driving.

That being said, the charger is super slow. My phone doesn't actually charge when using the wireless charger. Well, it says it's charging, but it's so slow that my phone ends up losing charge if I'm actually doing gps or something. So keep that in mind. But, overall, I would still recommend the Lisen holder.

This.

Had one in my car and didn't like it. Couldn't even move the vents up/down or side way.
