We bought the black model on prime day for $65. The rice cooker works phenomenally as our last one started having issues. Very nice design too.

$55 is a no brainer. Better than the deal you often see for the tiger at costco.

I love the unit but why pay more for a smaller unit? I use jasmine rice and it comes out perfect every time.

Last thread I read on these mentioned them being made in China vs some other cuckoo models if anyone finds that helpful

This one said it's made in China. I bought the red round/oval one a week or two ago from HD also and that one was made in Korea. So far it has been great and turbo cooking mode is a dream!
