Long term endurance is also usually better from tier 1 manufacturers like SK Hynix since they make the vast majority of the internal components for the drives vs a company like Seagate that buys everything separately.

Would be nice to play games via the device by a friend's house or to move a game to another xbox or ps in the house without installing if not enough room. Otherwise just have a backup copy of my fav games.

"I got excited for expanding my SSD memory on either my Xbox Series X or my PlayStation 5. Bummer is, that it won't play any of the new system games off the stick. I can transfer them to the USB but in order to play the games, I need to have them back on the internal hard drive. I can still use it to play PS4 and Xbox One games, just like any normal drive plugged in. But a little misleading since it states Xbox Series X and PS5."
edit: I did some research. Iphone 15 and above can provide up to 4.5W using PD thru the USB C connector. According to anandtech, the hynix peak power consumption is 4.3W, with the lowest power tested 1TB OWC envoy pro mini at 1.8W, the silicon Power MS70 at 1.9W. The silicon power is also on sale for the same price, $70. Note that the Silicon Power PX10 is $65, has USB C port, about the same performance of the hynix and about the same power usage as well. I would give up a bit of the speed for lower power if used not on laptops and get the MS70. This price is not that special as it is the regular price for these 1TB NVMe thumb drives. For lightning port iphones, it can only put out about .3W so anything above that will need to be externally powered.
