I have 3 Midea portables and a Whynter. Clearly all made by the same company. I think Toshiba is the same too.

Keep your eye out. I didn't pay more than $200 for any of them. Dual hose, wifi, and heat.... They're out there. Just gotta wait it out.

I also got a 12000 btu inverter ushape at Costco not long ago for $240.
