38% off MSRP. You can easily find it for 20% off, but this deal is fantastic.
There are great deals across the whole Rocky Mountain Element lineup, albeit some with limited sizing options

I can get the electric Yamaha YDX Moro series bikes for less $$
...and an extra 25 to 30 pounds and they'll be a bunch of areas you can't ride. You'll definitely enjoy the ascent more but I'll fly by you on the downhills as you clunk your way down. Maybe when I'm 70 I'll consider an ebike but for now I actually want the better handling and exercise. That being said, please don't eat a snickers bar as you pass me going up a hill. Thanks in advance.

Nice bike, with that being said, i would never buy a brand new bike, it's like buying a new car, you lose around 20-30% value the first time your ride it. Much better deals used if you are patient.
I dunno. The carbon frame is doing a lot of work driving the price for a couple lbs of weight savings. Otherwise based on the rest of the build you can find a similar equipped bike in the $2k-$2500 range. Polygon T8, YT Jeffsey or Izzo, GT Sensor, etc.

That's not even the best deal, airpark bike co has been clearancing out a lot of the Rocky mountain products, frames, some complete bikes. Many of them half off
Rocky Mountains website has it listed as 29.9lbs/13.59kg, which is pretty good.
Yes, that's quite good for a full suspension bike at this price. There are full suspension bikes a lot lighter (e.g., Specialized Epic 8 Pro) but they tend to be much more expensive.

Is that only available locally? I don't see it on their website.
I'm really interested in this bike (the Element), whether it's prebuilt or the frame

I just called the shop (I'm near them in AZ) and confirmed that the pricing on the website is the same as the store. I'm not seeing much at the higher discount level... so far I haven't been able to beat the posted deal, at least for my size.
If you are an XL, Sun and Ski has an A50 for 52% off ($1967) which is a screaming deal. Wish i could fit into that one.

could be all sold. element carbon frames were on clearance for 1599. the altitude is still around for 1999 with an x2. i just checked and a lot of the good deals from 2-3 months ago are gone. if you're looking for a 130 bike another on sale is the revel rascal. one of the best pedaling 130 bikes out there. similar pricing to the element with current sales.
