Or does the Chase Ink Business and SW Business cards really not impact the 5/24 rule? If that's the case, curious what's the max number of Chase Ink Business cards you have opened in a single year. I've only tried 2 per year.
Any insights appreciated.

Thanks. Sounds like the Southwest cards have a two year wait period between SUB, but in my experience Chase Ink cards do not. I opened 1 Ink Cash and 1 Ink Unlimited each year without any issues. From what I've read some people recommend waiting 3 months between opening Chase Ink cards.

It's a $69 annual fee cost, and you get approx $1,180 worth of points. That is the understood-value of 85,000 in points.
Frankly, you should cancel every year, and reapply every 2 years, when these larger bonuses are offered. You are allowed to get bonuses on this card every 2 years
You redeem the points by booking flights at Southwest.com using points instead of $$$. This offer will provide your points-account with the points.
You can go to southwest.com now and look at points costs for a sample flight you might want to take. When you are ready to book, you can also book a flight for someone else, using your points.
Using points, You can book flights and cancel at least 10 min before flight time, and get all points back. No consequence for timely cancellations

I've heard Chase can pull these offers at any time. Anyone have any experience with that happening, even though it says it doesn't expire until the 17th, or am I safe in waiting another week?
One personal card + one business card (Initial bonus from both cards in 2025 would get you there)
or
One personal card bonus + a couple referrals in 2025 (where you would get bonus points for referring others).
To get the benefit of the Companion Pass and for 2025-2026, you'd need the bonuses to hit in 2025.
So you'd need to delay your application (to early Oct) and delay finishing your spending requirement to early January so that your 85,000 bonus points hit in 2025. Then you also get 10,000 companion points from Southwest in 2025 for being a card holder. So you are already at 95,000 or more out of 135,000 for companion pass eligibility points in 2025. Once you get there, two referrals in 2025 should do it -- even without the business card. Referral bonuses have been 20k each lately. Google Chase Refer a Friend portal to find out about that.
Good luck.
P.S. And as to someone else's prior comment......about getting 'refunded for the annual fees'....I don't know how to do that. I have always had to pay the annual fees for these cards, but the points are worth way more than the annual fees so I am fine with that -- even if you don't try for a companion pass....to me, 85,000 bonus points is worth at least ten times the $69 annual fee.
