How safe is it to buy trading cards from secondipity? Isn't it a used item store? (Not trying to be sarcastic, i really don't know) just because it says "new"…

These are NEW. From what I understand Secondipity handles returns for Target and other retailers like Home Depot as a third party then re-sells. I have purchased many Monopoly boosters from them over the 23-24 season and had mostly good results. I got almost all of them in new shelf quality packaging no issues not sure how they got returned but I assume someone bought bulk then had someone at Target do the return for them. That said, some did arrive "crushed" where the box was crushed but I had zero damage to the packs of cards inside. In those cases I contacted Secondipity and they gave me a $10 credit each time. I've purchased other products from the site over the last year and have no complaints really.
