It is wild how hot my 13 mini gets using MagSafe every night. I just upgraded to the 16 pro and I'm moving back to corded charging wherever possible. It can't be healthy for phones to get this hot

I always charge with a cable and my friend always wireless charges with an official Apple Magsafe charger. Both of us charge our phones overnight. My launch day 14 Pro Max's battery health is at 93%. My friend's 14 Pro Max is at 82%. I know that usage differs from person to person. But that's too huge a loss in battery health for phones that are identical and of the same age. The kicker is that since his battery dies quicker in the day, he charges it more, which in turn affects battery health.

My phone's charging port is mest up so I use a wireless charging cable like this and gets pretty warm that I use it as a hand warmer when it's cold. Wondering if it's worth just for the stand.

Slow charging if you are used to quick charging. Slow .

You can find nicer stands for cheaper, don't waste your money on this as a stand.

I have this exact wireless MagSafe-type stand on my nightstand, charging my 12 mini with an Apple leather case for a year and a half. It has never been warm, let alone hot. I am using this product with an Apple 20W power supply. I recommend the Anker 533.

So I have some questions for you, are you using this specific Anker charger with your 13 mini? Do you have a case on your phone? If so, what model is your case? What power power supply are you using? Any one of these can affect charging temperature.

- Not compatible with non-MagSafe phone cases, such as OtterBox defender cases.

- The charging base at the bottom cannot charge Apple watch.
