It is very unlikely that the deals are going to get much better than this during Black Friday. It will be better, but not much better. Lenovo machines are awesome.

Oh and don't forget the case which also doubles as a furnace.
I second this. I don't know what it is about the Dell computers, whether it's their desktop, laptop, or 2 in 1, they always have thermal throttling issues.

I ordered one even though I don't really need it; hopefully pricing won't go much lower the next few weeks.

Pretty solid deal. Lenovo machines are fairly high up in reliability, but their customer service is a literal nightmare to deal with. I'd rather spend a few hundred more for a similarly priced PC from a place like CyberPower PC or Digital Storm (though the latter carries a premium $$$). Better quality parts, better part flexibility when building one and better customer service.

I normally build my own, and by "normally" I mean once every decade (current PC is from 2013). Could I even build a decent rig with Windows for this cheap? I don't care about RGB, in fact, I'll turn all lights off. I have very few parts in my current PC that I could salvage, so it's basically a clean slate.
Purely in gaming performance, you could beat this slightly while lowering the price very slightly. If gaming isn't your only concern though, that's a different story.

I can build the same for half the price. You're just paying for the Lenovo logo.
The rtx 4070 super is $600 alone. How you getting the 1tb SSD, 850 power supply, 16gb ram and i7 for only $75?

Wait, I just bought the Lenovo Legion Gaming laptop with the 4090, did you find any issues with it? I would like more feedback on gaming laptops 🙌

Best gaming pc deal i have seen in a while, but i still prefer to build myself and pick my own components, it would cost me $1355 just to build this based on similar specs

$500 Intel Core i7-14700K, ASUS Z790 Gaming WiFi7, G.Skill Ripjaws 32GB DDR5 6000 from Microcenter
$100 850W Modular PSU
$600 4070 Super
$55 1TB NVME
$100 Case with 3 fans
$1355

Edit: I forgot about air cooler and windows key
Thermaltake Phantom Spirit 120 Evo $50
Windows 11 CD Key $20

New Total $1425 to build a similar specced system

I haven't seen enough evidence to prove that Intel has fixed the issues with 13/14th gen. I would still err on side of caution for a system like this

There was a deal going on Lenovo towers from Bed Bath and Beyond that allowed you to get the same towers for about $150 cheaper. I tried it recently but they adjusted their coupon stacking method.

That's what's hold me back.
If this had an AMD chip, I'd get it.
