That Rtings review is for the 2023 A6K Series. Not to say that this 2024 A6N Series will be much different, but Rtings hasn't reviewed it yet. They have it in their lab. https://www.rtings.com/review-pipeline/tv

Yeah, you are correct. When I searched, I just matched the A6 in this listing to the A6 on the rtings page.
We have Fire and Roku devices but no Google devices. Anybody have experience with all three? How is the Google TV interface and is not having other Google devices a barrier?

I have Roku and Google TV, and I used to have Fire, although I haven't used it in a while. Google TV is fine, it's not as simple as Roku but it's not difficult. You don't need to have any other Google devices (I just use mine with the remote).
The qd6 from Costco is close to this price. I'm guessing they're similar in terms of performance. Costco direct has $100 off if you need more than 1. Fire TV on those. I went w that bc I don't want log into my google account at my rental property

I just purchased this for my mother. She isn't a fan of really big TVs but I just couldn't get her another 40" TV its time to upgrade LOL. I don't think 55" is too large. Hopefully she likes it when I bring it to her on Sunday.

I dumped both Fire and Roku for the Onn brand streaming boxes from Walmart which are Google and the base 4K box is like $19. I do this even if the TV comes with the OS because it seems to run better on a dedicated box. I think the value is outstanding and they've worked great. There is technically an "Apps Only Mode" or something like that that reduces the clutter on the default Google UI but it's not clean enough for me.
If you don't mind a bit of tinkering you can replace the Google TV interface with a much simpler one, which I prefer. See: Projectivy Launcher as an example.
I don't think not having another Google device is a barrier but you might have a different preference.

Seems like a decent set for the price.
