Same here but my subscription doesn't expire until late November- early December. Hopefully they offer a Black Friday deal like they did the past couple years.

I did cancel as my year was up. Within the next week I received an offer for a full year for $25 bucks via email.

This is an option to lock in longer. Hopefully it helps!

6-7 years ago when they began. i took out a subscription. after a month i went to cancel and had a terrible time. had to play email tag bback and forth with Peacock. Finally they cancelled.
LIKELY THEY HAVE CHANGED THE PROCESS but have not forgot the experience.

The last couple of years at BF they have done 12 month 1.99 deals.

My year for $20 was up last week Friday, and I canceled then. I did NOT get offered this deal in the OP.

I expire (well, my subscription does, I hope I don't) in the end of October. I tried this and was given the very cheerful message, "Success! Your paid plan has been canceled."

So, yah, no. Didn't work. Might have to resubscribe with my other Email as a 'new' subscriber in a month.

Hoping they'll do that black friday thing again this year. I'm currently not subscribed because they barely have anything worth watching that doesn't already air for free on NBC. I might like to see the new Monk movie, but not for $8.

My sub just ended last month, got an offer yesterday for 2.99 a month for 6 months.

Gonna hold out for Black Friday for that annual sub deal they usually run.

The ads on Peacock are actually not bad if you watch on a bigger screen (4 30 second ad breaks per 1 hour show). On a mobile device much more frequent
