How much do you expect for a non-carrier promotion for a 4-year old base model phone?

AT&T & T-Mobile offer $1K value for iPhone 12 with their premium plans. Many are buying it for trading in with their carrier. Already got a 12 from Metro last deal, which was $50 more.

Keeping my current phones (13 and higher) as spares so I can trade these in instead for less.

If you don't auto-pay or extend service, there is nothing to cancel. You just stop paying. Based on what I have read, device should auto unlock after 12 months from activation and continued service is not required.

Check out the unlock policy link I shared earlier.

Are people able to use number barn to get number to port? It looks like GV doesn't let you same number to verify again and i am out of numbers.

once GV ports out, takes a bit to drop off your account and you can get a new GV number..GV counts as land line and ports slower

What's the easiest way to get a number to port over?
Are there more than one way to get a number to port over? Meaning pay a little more but easy to do?

What's the criteria for getting blacklisted? My understanding is that with Metro you are allowed to take advantage of device upgrade offers every 6 months.

The issue i am seeing is that when i try to use same number to verify a new GV number it says it cannot verify using that even though i have removed that number from other GV linked number. Somewhere i was reading GV allow to use a number to verify only once in life. It is hard to believe but if that is true then i cannot get any more GV number.

Deleting is not the same as porting out..let the number drop off by itself from GV account. Most likely GV port out is not complete and potentially fudged by you deleting the number

Fudge this phone. 64 gb of internal storage is really small guys. the ios software already takes up half of it or even more and all your left with is about 20 gb of storage. I would only get this phone if they have an External SD card slot

I am not deleting that number. I am removing the linked number and trying to use that linked number to get a new GV number in a new google account. When getting a new GV number in a new account it asks for a real number to verify and it seems i cannot use any number that i used before. So i am limited by real numbers to verify.

I also tried an old google account which had a GV at some point but that GV is gone and a cannot get a new GV number using same number to verify.

you still own that GV number..unless you port it out , google still has you with 1 GV number for mobile number...Yes, you can get 1 GV number with 1 mobile number ..You port out 1 number at a time, once ported out you get a new GV number and so on..unless you have more mobile numbers
