How much do you expect for a non-carrier promotion for a 4-year old base model phone?

AT&T & T-Mobile offer $1K value for iPhone 12 with their premium plans. Many are buying it for trading in with their carrier. Already got a 12 from Metro last deal, which was $50 more.

Keeping my current phones (13 and higher) as spares so I can trade these in instead for less.

If you don't auto-pay or extend service, there is nothing to cancel. You just stop paying. Based on what I have read, device should auto unlock after 12 months from activation and continued service is not required.

Tried to sign up for google voice.
Gave my tracfone number for verification. GV texted me a code, I entered it on GV, and the GV page hung up. After an hour I close the page, restarted chrome and entered my email to log in. The login page hangs up before I can even enter my password.
