How much do you expect for a non-carrier promotion for a 4-year old base model phone?

AT&T & T-Mobile offer $1K value for iPhone 12 with their premium plans. Many are buying it for trading in with their carrier. Already got a 12 from Metro last deal, which was $50 more.

Keeping my current phones (13 and higher) as spares so I can trade these in instead for less.

If you don't auto-pay or extend service, there is nothing to cancel. You just stop paying. Based on what I have read, device should auto unlock after 12 months from activation and continued service is not required.

Same here with the GV numbers that I ported to Metro to buy two i12's to trade-in to Best Buy for Pixel 9's. Didn't really use those lines.

Yes, I got the same status. It's weird that I am able to make outgoing calls, but incoming calls still play the 'NumberBarn recording.' I could care less; it's a burner number that I needed to port in for a discount.

PSA: if you're planning to use rsim19 to do the mickey mouse unlock method, DO NOT update to the latest iOS 17.7 (or even iOS 18 for that matter). My rsim19 doesn't work. Idk maybe I got a bunk rsim19. Lol

Ordered 3:30pm Friday, UPS app shows a label was created but the Metro order status page now says "There is a delay in your shipment". UPS hasn't progressed past the "label has been created" point.

If I port out the number with in the first 30 days before 2nd month billing period will metro still unlock the phone after 1 year. No proper reception in my location I have to go back AT&T now. But wondering what will happen to phone and will they charge me $629 on my CC which I used to buy in store.
