AT&T & T-Mobile offer $1K value for iPhone 12 with their premium plans. Many are buying it for trading in with their carrier. Already got a 12 from Metro last deal, which was $50 more.
Keeping my current phones (13 and higher) as spares so I can trade these in instead for less.
Check out the unlock policy link I shared earlier.

Can I call the Porting Dept to get the account number and Port transfer PIN?

Some people don't want to spend the time or effort. I'm retired, at home most of the time, so I buy/sell phones as a hobby. I've been doing that since 2020 and It's been profitable for me. See attachment.

2) You can call Metro C.S. (not their Porting Dept) to get the account number and Port-Out PIN. You can also log into your Metro account, look under Account-->Payment History, pull up a Statement and the Account Number will be in the statement. There's a function in the account to request the Port-Out PIN, good for 7 days. The Account Number and Port-Out PIN are the same for ALL lines in the account.

What is strange is soon after that I got another text message from Metro 611 stating that "A change was made to your account." "Amount due immediately $64.00." I do not see anywhere in my Metro online account about the $64.00 that is due immediately.
My Metro account shows "Autopay is turned OFF" and "You currently have no saved payment methods". Am I safe from being charged additional money just because I ported out my Phone #1 ($75) number? Does Metro still have my Debit card info of when I purchase the 3 phones ($75 + $35 + $35) and can they debit additional charges without my consent? The "Amount due immediately $64.00." is what I am concerned about.

A two-step verification code is needed for line:
xxx-xxx-xxxx
Please login to your (xxx) xxx-xxxx account to receive a two-step verification code to request your transfer PIN.
I then tried to switch line #2 to a different device (a non-Metro unlocked phone), my thinking was that after switching devices I would be able to receive the verification code and port-out the line. I entered the IMEI of the other phone and it was able to lookup the other details (IMEI2, EID), but then at the last step it gave an error. So it looks like I will have to call Metro support. The weird thing is that when I look at the details for line #2, for Data Usage it says "We cannot retrieve your data usage at this time. For further information call us at 1-888-8-METRO8 or find your nearest store." and under Plan it says $0. I don't know if this is because I've never powered on this phone and it's always been like this, or if this was caused by my failed switch device request. Anyways, I'll call Metro tomorrow.

That said, I was advised in another thread that I should unpair the device from Metro before selling it. And the way to do that would be to delete the eSIM or switch the line to a different device. So I'll be calling Metro to do that.
