I have an earlier version of this and the pencil exposed is a definite issue, and also I cannot flip the keyboard over completely to open the case when I am using the iPad while standing, etc. I HAVE to use it on a table, so I simply do not use the keyboard. I have different cases that are much more usable.

Sad, because I love the feel of the keyboard, but I so rarely use the iPad with the KB that it is simply an annoyance.

i think you just nailed it on the head with mac os still living in 2010. The idea is they dont want to cannibalize iOS sales with touch mac os capability?

If it's for touch screen, get a Windows Surface. It has all that and it's portable.

Anyone know if this is compatible with the M1 iPad Pro? Listing only says it's compatible with the current M4 iPad Pro.

I loved the magic keyboard on the 12.9in when I had it but found myself only using it at a desk. When I upgraded to the 11in M4, I'm enjoying using it like a tablet with the pencil instead of a laptop replacement on a keyboard case. Now I use my 11in iPad all the time around the house.
