The Samsung HW-Q990C offers a more robust overall performance than the Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar. While both bars are premium, the Samsung comes with a subwoofer and satellites, has a more neutral sound profile out of the box, and gets louder. Thanks to its satellites and up-firing speakers, it offers a better, more immersive surround and height performance and has a wide array of customization features. It even supports HDMI In and video passthrough. However, the Bose has a better soundstage performance and supports Chromecast built-in.
All had issues , all died due to update failure within few months , Bose will repair it , send you one that will have same issue in 3 months , I had 4-5 exchanges takes 1 month to get the repair back

Setup not as simple
As with Samsung / Sonos
Rear speakers with their big power brick is embarrassing
Connection issues to rears also can be problematic, I felt instead of enjoying these Bose systems I had to look at the app every hour to see if all was connected
Real shame because when it works it's good but major issues across the board !!
I spoke with dozens of their techs and higher management their excuse is that all soundbars have these connection issues due to how they work on WiFi , they said u have to accept it and deal / repair it as it goes

It's day and. Night with less issues with Sonos arc and q990 series
