The Harbor Freight drying towel is one of my favorite drying towels. It works as well as the $30 dreadnought drying towels for a fraction of the price. I can easily dry two vehicles with it. It is on sale this weekend with a 30% off coupon for only $4.19!

Looks like a great deal. Can anyone speak to how it compares to the Woolly Mammoth from Chemical Guys?

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...F8OO&psc=1

I have the Woolly Mammoth and it's a great towel. I can just adequately dry a car and a truck at the same time, but really need another to get 'em both really dry. I'm going to take a chance with the Harbor Freight one and chime back with my experience. Hopefully someone else will beat me to it.

EDIT
It's out of stock at my store. Guess I'll have to wait till next round.

I have never used the Woolly Mammoth towel, so can't give you a comparison. But, I have a couple of these and l think they work great. For the money you can't beet them.

These are about half the heft of something like the Chemical Guys Woolly Mammoth. Look at the GSM rating. Higher the number the more dense and hence more water it can hold. Chemical guys is good, but there are others that are better. I use 1300 GSM and they are WAY better.

Maybe if you're Peter Dinklage.

Adam Polishes 33 x 29" 1500 GSM. One towel easily dries my entire sedan without needing to squeeze, but I would try some of these other recs since the Adams aren't discounted right now.

For reference, I got a 2-pk of the Adams for $45 back when they offered a coupon and S&S: https://amazon.com/gp/product/B07KMKHGQ7

I can't speak for this exact towel but I know other, smaller microfiber towels from harbor freight have been garbage in the past.

If you like having multiple microfiber towels and don't need the XXL size, the ones from Costco are amazing and the ones from Sam's Club aren't far behind. It may depend on your area but I got 36 for about $15, which I personally prefer as I can always have some washed and ready to go, and if something gets in it that'll scratch the paint you can either repurpose for home use or throw them away.

I use the rag company liquid8r, it's good enough to dry 2 cars without squeezing but requires washing after about every 3rd or 4th car. It makes drying super easy, simply toss it evenly on the surface of the car and pull the end
