Just know, if you get the 45lbs in this brand, they are bigger than the 50's for some reason.

This is the best deal, 50 lb dumbbells go for $90-100 second hand and really hard to find below $1 a pound.

This is true, the 20lbs balancefrom is the the same size as my 30lbs cap dumbbells.

40lbs are on sale at Walmart.com for $60 which is not as good of a deal as the 50lbs, but still really good nonetheless.

Yep. My 25# pair of BalanceFrom DBs are about the size of 35# or 40# dumbbells at the gym!

I also bought them on sale for less than $1/lb. Nothing wrong with them in terms of functionality, because of course weight is weight, but I think that is something folks should be aware of---probably the reason they're so cheap. Perhaps they are rubber-coated CEMENT vs rubber-coated STEEL in the CAP or other more expensive brands' dumbbells?

Yep, have the 45s and they are huge. And I'm weak. It's everything I can do to get 3 sets of 8 reps with those Flintstone dumbbells.
