Had this for about a year now (BF last year) and have made probably over 1000 cups of coffee/espresso/cappuccinos, etc. It's super easy to use, makes great coffee (I recommend Lavazza Super Crema Whole Bean Coffee Blend). The only things I don't like is you can't create custom recipes. My favorite is milk froth 180ml first then 2 shots of medium strength ristretto, would love to be able to add this recipe and just push one button.

What's the difference between this 3300 series and 3200 which Costco has for $499?
Is it worth extra $150?

What was the answer? Based on that, I would save the money and get the 3200 from Costco that you can return easily if you change your mind or something goes wrong. Maybe I missed something that was worth $150 though.

Exactly. To me it's not worth $150 to get dispensing spout adjustment both lower and higher and quieter grinder. Those are only differences I could find.

Completely different machines, not even comparable.

This one is a super auto, the breville is a semi auto.

If you want to set it and forget it, this. If you prefer to tinker, get the breville. Tinkering gets old quick for many though.

On paper not much. But in actual testing noise level from grinder is substantially reduced and foam seems better.

I've been using this model for about six months and love it. It made me switch from coffee to espresso. My son appreciates the latte feature, which produces excellent foam. I recommend using whole milk instead of half-and-half or milk substitutes. By the way, I found a refurbished unit on eBay for much less, so keep an eye out.
