I have 2 of these in my homelab. These are AWESOME little workhorses. I outfitted both with 2x 32GB SODIMM, 1x HP 940 Pro 4TB NVMe, and 1x 2TB Sandisk Ultra SATA SSD. Very quiet, very cool, seriously fast, and not much more than you'd pay for an off-lease 9th gen Optiplex Micro.

Caveats:
- only 2x USB 3 ports, this has been annoying a few times but I just use usb-c to usb-a/3 hubs
- semi-proprietary PSU will be difficult to replace in the future
- firmware updates are rare, suspicious at best
- the intel nic has poor support in any server-like OS, even Windows Server. I use a USB 2.5 dongle with a really low end Realtek chip instead, works fine for that
just normal price,
They don't. That was my mistake, edited it. They only ships Windows with models having SSD and Ram.

How does this have W11 without a hard drive included? Do they send a license?

What is a good price on these? Can they play older titles at 1080? Fortnite, Borderlands2, KC deliverance?

Probably doesn't, but licenses are tied to the motherboard digitally. So, if they activated Windows and then removed the ssd...

I highly doubt that it has Windows, but a license can be had for way cheap.

This likely doesn't have w11. That said, win keys are tied to motherboards in my experience. One can experience this when taking a windows harddrive out of one pc and putting it into another. It will start complaining and require calling windows support to ask them to port the license to the new motherboard.

Not likely but maybe. If you want to game older titles at 1080p 780M is a better bet but at that price ($450+) you are better off just building a small PC or refurb and putting in an Arc card or old Nvidia the like which will serve you better. Some of the newer ones have Oculink which will let you run eGPU so you could upgrade later but I still think a dedicated build will give you more bang for the buck.

this ram thermal throttling pos? for the price I guess it's ok but there are 6850H minipcs for the same price and they don't have the thermal throttling issue cus they added a fan at the bottom (GMKTec m7)

These are not gaming PCs, even though they're being marketed as one. Something like this can do the games you mentioned...

Yes they definitely will play. Low, medium, or high graphics settings will be the question

Yep. 680m is about twice as much GPU as the steamdeck, so if the steamdeck can run it at 720p, this should be able to run it at 1080p (fast memory is the bottleneck, pay a little extra for DDR5-6000)

That one doesn't need RAM, storage and OS license but the GPU is much much weaker.
