Caveats:
- only 2x USB 3 ports, this has been annoying a few times but I just use usb-c to usb-a/3 hubs
- semi-proprietary PSU will be difficult to replace in the future
- firmware updates are rare, suspicious at best
- the intel nic has poor support in any server-like OS, even Windows Server. I use a USB 2.5 dongle with a really low end Realtek chip instead, works fine for that

Ace Magician Mini Desktop: Ryzen 7 5800U, 16GB DDR4, 512GB SSD, Dual Lan, Win 11 Pro $269

I use one of the 7735's above, I game at 30fps (VSYNC, like consoles) medium/high in most optimized games and low/medium in harder to run titles (Horizon 5, GTAV, Batman Arkham, etc are an easy 30 on high+, but Cyberpunk is more like 30 locked at low with a few mediums and Doom Eternal at like 900p on low/medium locks at 60).
If you have to have 60fps because you are a keyboard/mouse player, or you're a PC gamer who is accustomed to the minimum playable frame rate being 60fps (again cuz you're sitting on top of the screen and probably using a KBM), even a 780m system (a 5-10% uplift) won't get you to locked 60 either, even the newest chips out that have the 890m in it are hitting it but without a ton of headroom (and they cost a grand). Halo Strix looks like it might change the game but that's going to be "build a full PC with a real GPU" pricey when they drop.
However...a 780m system can turn on both Frame Generation and Scaling options that the 680m cannot support. Keep that in mind.
