My friend bought this about 2 weeks ago for $219, she mentioned the fan spins all the time so the fan noise is always there.

It's a $200 laptop, dude, I think customers at that price point can deal with a suboptimal panel type

The RAM's expandable and I believe the m.2 slot will run at PCIe Gen4 speeds. Can also get a Dell Lattitude 5240 for similar and it does offer USBC charging. The Vivobook x1404 does not have USBC charging.

Not too bad of a price. I got the 17" Vivobook for $300 last year this time. Came with the i3-1220p. I'd watch out for it for anyone wanting a bigger screen.

Hard to find a decent 14" at this price range. No, it's not top of the line but very serviceable in small package. Some prefer this.
