Love AudioEngine, have had multiple sets of their speakers for years. That said, be prepared, these have zero bass. If you like da boom, you're gonna have to add a sub! Can't speak on their new teenie mini sub, but I can say the A5+/S8 combo slaps!

It's a computer speaker for me and they're smaller units. They have larger units if you want a full sound system.

I was going to post this, cause I love my A2+s - mainly cause they seem to last forever unlike any other computer speakers I've bought. Even the packaging shows they really love their product. I've been moving a lot so have boxed and unboxed them a lot.

I don't think the sound is that great for $270 MSRP but the build quality is amazing.

I have the same one for 3 years and I got Refurbished one. It works well and the sound quality is really crisp and high fidelity. Like other comment, there are not much Bass exist. And I purchased an used S8 Woofer from Ebay. As the pair, it works great. Highly recommend to all.

For the speaker stand, I have the same one on the photo, but I bought the white one because I have White Color Speaker...

Wow, prices have gone up. Of course. Pretty sure I paid about $200 less for that bundle, though that was quite a few years ago. But yea, I have that bundle in black and white (two spots in the house) both use the D1 DAC from PCs. That's been my go-to PC speaker system for well over a decade.
