You've probably never used one, but the magnets are insanely strong and quite hard to remove.

I used to feel this way but got really tired of sitting on a giant wallet. Even a slim front pocket wallet was just too much in my pockets. Finally tried a MagSafe wallet and will never go back. I don't think I've ever had it fall off except when I dropped my phone once or twice, but you know it immediately because you're so used to how your phone feels with it.

I will say a naked phone or some slick cases the wallet falls off easier, but I use the silicone case which is super grippy, so the wallet hangs on pretty good.

Brother Peichen, you seem way too risk adverse in life.

But MagSafe accessories are SUPER strong. The magnets aren't flimsy like one might assume. I was cautious too but trust me it's not going anywhere unintentionally! Now ofc the design of the actual wallet might be bad but MagSafe is not the issue here.

Also, there's reviews that say these esr cases are not durable and the strap tears easily. The metal dot on the strap also scratches other things, so I would avoid this or cover it.
I second this. I bought it during a previous deal. Strap started separating about a week in and completely frayed in about a month. I would not recommend this product.

I don't understand MagSafe wallets. Why would you put your most and 2nd most important pocket items into 1 unit and have them secured by magnet? Why would you double the rate of taking out your phone / wallet from your pocket on a daily basis and introduce the chance of something detaching in & out of the pocket?
Nowadays I'm using Apple Pay anywhere I possibly can, so when shopping at Walmart or Home Depot (about the only couple places left I go to routinely that don't take Apple Pay at this point), I am pulling out my iPhone like usual and then just grabbing a physical card from the MAgSafe Wallet. It's also one less item to remember to take when I leave the house, I just slap the wallet on there in the morning when I head out.

I just leave my MagSafe wallet in the car because I stick my phone on a MagSafe holder in the car and it gets a bit of a pain to take it on and off.

I actually use a MagSafe wallet with AirTag. It's more full featured than the FindMy function in the Apple MagSafe wallets that only tells you the last location. It's bulkier tho.

Something like this:

For discount cards for Krogers gas, and any others you use so you can put the card in and then tap to pay with your phone, and get them out of the main wallet. Keychain ones break.

Given this is slickdeals I figured this was the most appropriate response.

I have it and deataching has never happened to me, the magnet is pretty strong on thisones compared to other brands. However is not perfect, the finger loop has a lock and is made of some sort of hard plastic which eventually breaks and then you have to be careful everytime you want to hold your phone and use it with one hand, the loop hole is the only thing which I consider a design flaw. Other than that, I love it, I don't carry a wallet anymore.

Ditto on using those phone cases with built in wallet capability. Been that way for forever, always have my ID, medical insurance, and 1 or 2 credit cards with me. Don't need anything else. Currently using 'smartish' brand, I don't recall what they were called before that...

These magsafe things are nice/sturdy, but I just prefer a nice solid all-in-one solution rather than buying a case and then buying a wallet slap on, the combo looks too 80's to me for some reason.

I bought this one for iPhone 16 Pro and have been very pleased + it holds 6 cards (needed extra room for work cards to open doors etc…)
Also, don't have to remove card from wallet to open and strong magnet as well.

I used the this product. The magnet is so strong that the material is not strong enough to hold it when I removing it from the phone. Mine broke after 3 months. I contacted esr and haven't heard anything back yet. I think this product is good as long as it holds up…
