This was also posted here last month with 50 votes and it took me one try to search for it without knowing the specific keywords the OP used with non-standard wording like "slide lock."
If you really want to look at knife deals though there's plenty of info on that social media site that starts with an R (expect it to be censored) where there's an entire sub devoted to that. The fact of the matter is people here seem to have more invested in opinion than anything, but specific features like what kind of blade steel and lock are just facts, as is what it's selling for and qualifying for budget - obviously spending a lot more would get you better products. But I think there's enough people here who use this forum to express their angst or whatever that some people who used to or could post knife deals choose not to anymore because it's a waste of their time. I've repeatedly found a better price on the exact same model posted but I think I'll stop wasting my time too since this environment is probably not going to change.
