I have this and the fuel.. honestly this normal one is often more useful due to the slightly smaller size.

If memory serves, the best HD hack put this in the $80 range. So this seems like a smoking deal.

People should know this is NOT a powerful nut buster impact. It will do nothing to free stuck bolts and will not tighten over maybe 20 ft lbs. This is much more for spinning off and on and less for loosening and tightening.
Then it's useless. The whole point is hard to reach areas. If I can reach to break a bolt with a different tool. Then, I can already reach the bolt.

It may be to and likely is useless to you if breaking it free is its intended use. This is 'the fast one' there is another skew that is 'the powerful one'. I use the one here for long bolts but you still need to tighten with a hand tool if the bolt is bigger than like m6.

This seems to be the old brushed model that gets thrown in with M12 bundles for free whenever they need to goose sales a bit.
When researching which to get this version was suggested more than the fuel version due to size difference and reliability. I'm super happy I went with this one.

You don't know what you're talking about. If you don't own the tool or have never used it your opinion isn't valid.

If ya really want brushless here ya go (HD hack $99 before tax) or $199 for 2 batteries and charger:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M12-FUEL-12-Volt-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-High-Speed-3-8... [homedepot.com]

$30 more for brushless is probably worth it if you are a tech and work on vehicles everyday!

This is the old tell me you don't work on cars without telling me you don't work on cars.... And I'm not talking about oil changes or brakes. 🤣

Solid deal. I got the new brushless high speed version and leave that one in the shop and moved the original, brushed model (this one on sale) to my basement workshop. It's a great tool.

I'm an avid tool user and wooter. I'm used to seeing DeWalt woot deals, Ryobi has been appearing here and there, but this is the first Milwaukee I can recall seeing maybe ever? Will have to keep an eye out for more Milwaukee Woot deals.

Maybe someone can correct me there if there have been other Milwaukee M12 or M18 Woot sales

Go long or go home [walmart.com]While I agree that it is important for people to temper their expectations, this handles most 8-10mm on my cars, and if it can't, you just use it manually until it can. If someone needs impact, they can look at the right-angle impact.

Please correct me if I'm wrong about the manual part-- I often just surround myself with SD tools and grab/drop them until the fastener is taken care of, so maybe I'm misremembering it.
The owners manual says to NOT use it manual. It gives 35lbs of torque according to the internet. That isn't much.

This will just do an M8 bolt and does NOT tighten enough for an M10.

Lol. Every body guy I know uses these everyday, using manual to break bolts free, and finish tightening. I have the fuel and this version.

You're welcome to LOL but:
1) The owners manual specially says not to so depending on what breaks they may not cover it (trust me).
2) I would like to see the actual Milwaukee power ratchet they are using. There are about 4 versions of these and this one is VERY lightweight and cheap feeling. It is listed as 35lbs torque max. The others use all metal components and are rated at 150+ lbs of torque. They are very very different beasts. This one will make cracking sounds and flex with even fairly light pressure.

Notice in the attached image. The 1/4 inch strong version is the same size and strength as this one. That should tell you something. This one isn't made for heavy duty hard work.

I didn't thumb you down, but if you read that thread most of them use the ratchet manually. I can only speak for myself, but I have manually used this exact ratchet thousands of times to break free bolts.

Snagged one been wanting to get this for awhile. Borrowed a friends when I had to replace my alternator, saved my butt and at least 30+ minutes of just 1/4" turns on a ratchet in an awkward position.
