I played the Adventure Book version of Princess Bride. A cool co-op game to work through the story, but to me it was more challenging that fun. I only got through a chapter or two. (You're supposed to restart from the beginning any time your squad loses.)

I see that there are 8 chapters. I assume this includes all chapters?

yes, i have the wizard of oz one

turn the page and play a new 'level' or chapter. if you beat it, move on.

a co op game where the win/lose conditions and board change 8 times... save up items to use in the later levels

Here's a well written review I read from Board Game Geek, after reading it, I pulled the trigger and got one. Looks good and inexpensive enough to at least try once at my weekly game night with the boyz!

I don't know about this specific case, but many times the age range on a boardgame is due to safety testing issues of the components, rather than anything to do with the target age range for gameplay.

I'm not sure who you can trust when it comes to counterfeit games as even games supposedly sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon ended up being counterfeit I've heard. But eBay likely even higher risk.

bullseye deals is target liquidation—ships out of the same city in IN (directly next to them, i believe). the big issue is that this is almost certainly return stock, even if sold as new—I've had bullseye deals ship me numerous things sold as "brand new'" that were damaged, used, stained, or all three, and have since sworn them off. One example: I ordered a camelbak knock-off bag from their outdoor brand (embark). It arrived not only used, but with the water bladder full of water. Disgusting. So you're at your own risk buying (I have had plenty of stuff arrive fine, in the interest of fairness)

Thanks. Took the plunge after checking it out. Could be a good Halloween party giveaway prize at the very least.

Just following up after playing a few chapters with my 11 y/o. We've greatly enjoyed it and I'm glad I picked it up!

That said, it is fairly complex if all you're used to is run-of-the-mill family board games, so if you plan on playing with younger children maybe watch a "how to play" video prior to purchase to help decide if they'd enjoy that kind of thing.
