Never tried Aquaphor, but I have been using the A+D brand for a few years now. Couple of my kids have chronic dry skin (depending on the season) and this stuff works to good.

I have it on S&S for every 4 months.I got a 3 pack for under $10 [amazon.com]

Thanks! Cheaper per ounce than the 2 - 7oz tubs after $10 credit. Having the tubs is a nice alternative but man this is cheap. This is back to the prices I paid in 2020.

I'm going to try one of the A+D tubes from Walmart since it's a little over $4 and has $1 Walmart cash back. Thanks for the recommendation!

okay, super cheap deal means it has short expiration and they are stocking out. I am a superuser of this item and can tell you expired product is not usable. Smell bad and discoloration happens.

A+D is great for diaper rashes, or just preventive for diaper rash. We used that mostly, but also Aquaphor, which can be used pretty much anywhere. Even now that my kids are older, we use it for dry skin and eczema flare ups.

Been using this stuff for 6 years now. It was recommended/introduced to me by my orthopedic surgeon as I was recovering from ankle surgery to help reduce dark scarring, which it did help. More recently, I use it during the winter on my heels to keep it from cracking. It's very similar to Vaseline in texture and feel on your skin. It only takes a day or two for my skin to feel more soft and moisturized.

What's the difference between this a Vaseline/petroleum?
