SOLID buy. Another one for the EDC shelf.

I have the Sofirn SC31 PRO - solid flashlight, excellent EDC with anduril 2.0 UI but no tail-switch :'(

The SC31T is without the Anduril 2.0 UI but is a "SIMPLE UI" WITH A tail-switch Big Grin

2 modes:
Mode 1: Cycle mode - low med high turbo with double click at turbo
Mode 2: SMOOTH mode - press 4 times to ramp down/up with a flash and it memorizes that specific setting.

For both modes:
double-click = turbo
triple-click = strobe

side-switch will not work without tail-switch ON.

Can't say enough good things about this brand. I bought the headlamp for backpacking and it also came with a conversion kit for a smaller battery (trying to keep weight light for my pack). It is always a tank on the trail. I genuinely wish I had a need for another

Good lights for sure, but this price is not slick. I guess the benefit is from Amazon vs 2-3 week shipping from china,. They are this price many times a year. Almost monthly?

Add the magnetic tailcap as a separate item and not a bundle through this listing. Will have a very comparable light for ten bucks cheaper.

Lots of choices nowadays... if looking for a higher output light, the Wurkkos FC13 is a good alternative too.

I have used all the sub $75 popular EDC lights. I need to have a flashlight on me at all times and will use it more than likely at least an hour a day cumulative. They all do not last. Either it is the battery that fails or the electronic component inside. Currently I have a ThruNite that is failing.

If you need to have a light that you depend on daily, really daily. Then spend the money and get at least a ProTac level Streamlight or something similar. Because these Chinese lights just aren't it.

Personally would rather go for Wurkkos FCS13 - currently $20 w coupon.

FCS13 Lumens: 2500 Turbo / 1000 High

vs.

SC31T Lumens: 2000 Turbo / 800 High

Edit: Wurkkos also has 800mah bigger battery.
Edit 2: My mistake I misread high on Wurkkos as 1800 Lumens but it says 1000 high setting on Amazon.

No one seems to be mentioning step downs. SC31T description says it's 800 on High but then the reviews say High steps down from 600-400 to prevent overheating. Does the FCS13 have a step down from High to prevent overheating and how long does high last before it does so?

Then Amazon's FC13S says 1500 on high while the actual Wurkoss product page says 1000 high. What is the truth in all this???

It is physically impossible for these small lights to sustain such high light levels without overheating. So you will see a variation in numbers, depending on how they are measured.

Very high output, even if only maintained for a few seconds, can still be pretty good as a defensive measure... bulb

For regular walking around or fixin things you don't need thousands of lumens, and if you do, get a larger light.

Purchased a Wurkkos TS21 from a SD about a year ago, worked great for a few months then died.
Wurkkos customer service is non-existent, will never purchase from them again.

I don't need such a powerful light, looking to get a few cheap ones for dog walking that are rechargeable. Any suggestions? Maybe under $10

I have noticed it from Turbo but not from high so far. But haven't given it a proper test.

What I can say is I have the Wurkkos and love it.
