On the listings I've checked, Woot has now added a disclaimer that you aren't guaranteed to get a US copy, I'd imagine most likely it will be a UAE copy since those are quite common for Switch imports.

For me, I will be skipping these because of that- US releases hold much more value in the long run.

Yeah, exactly this. Woot often sells games for foreign regions, so I generally don't buy from them. At least they're put up a disclaimer at this point.

Any way to know what region the animal crossing is? My daughter used to have the us version and still has the save file. I read the save file wouldn't work if non-us.

Prices are tempting, but as others have said: running the risk of getting a non-US version. With Black Friday around the corner, I can see most of these titles going to these prices for a US version, so, personally, I'll be a bit more patient.

Just to confirm. You need prime for free shipping from woot? I recently cancelled my prime membership and was banking on free shipping from Amazon based on the 35 dollar rule. That must not apply to woot?

Correct - I want to say that no matter how much you're spending, Woot will charge a shipping fee unless you use Prime to checkout.

Still waiting for Nintendo to bring back the Nintendo Selects budget line as some of these games that have been around for a few years should be $20 or less at this point. There quite a few GameCube, Wii, and Wii U titles I picked up when they were in that sweet spot price range that I wouldn't have picked up otherwise. Maybe their strategy to artificially inflate their prices are working for their bottom line, but they've basically lost me as a customer for some games I'm on the fence about. On the flip side, I've bought some excellent PS4/PS5 games over the years on the basis they were under $20 (among the best was PS4 Spiderman that was posted here for about $15 probably 5-6 years back), so Sony has gotten my business for sale/budget titles instead of Nintendo.
