It's best to call a few days after you port all your lines and things have been settled in your account.
Tmo keep and switch is 15 days to get $800/line savings for devices that have been paid for 90 days and are from Verizon, AT&T, UScellular, Claro, Xfinity Mobile, Spectrum Mobile.

The other thing for people complaining about bill increases - FWIW, when I unlocked the number port transfer, within a couple of days I got a 'loyalty' discount offer. No terms, just reduced my bill for 4 lines unlimited to about $169.xx. Maybe chatting with CS might help to 'trigger' a loyalty discount for you too.
I switched to T-Mobile after a week. Verizon reducing autopay discount to force us onto worse plans was the last straw after being with them 14 years. T-Mobile paid off our phones. Then 15% discount because of my employer. Verizon took that discount away a few years ago. Upgraded 16Pro Max with $1000 Trade in with the phone I brought from Verizon.
