Delivery is only $29 for me. Install is spendy but installing yourself isn't that difficult, albeit a bit more complicated than just plugging in a stove/fridge/microwave.

Only buy dishwasher from Costco, so that delivery and installation are covered.

This is typical sale price(everywhere) for this dishwasher, definitely not slick. This will probably be $399 on Nov 1. Buy from a local independent and delivery will most likely be free and install will probably be less.

There are multiple models in the Bosch 100 Series. There's the base model Series 100, the Series 100 Plus, and the Series 100 Premium. Then there are the finishes, colors vs the more expensive stainless. You're comparing the base Series 100 in black at Best Buy to the Series 100 Premium in stainless at Costco. They're not priced in the same ballpark.

To compare apples to apples, here's the Series 100 Premium in stainless at Best Buy, the same model that Costco sells:

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/6543005.p

It's currently on sale for $809.99, compared to Costco at $869.99. For that $60 difference from Costco you get delivery, installation, haul away of your old dishwasher, and an extra year of warranty. Best Buy charges $29.99* for delivery. Delivery with installation is $244.97*. If you want them to haul away your old dishwasher, it's another $59.99 (only available with installation, not with delivery-only). So, Best Buy's price with delivery, installation and haul-away is $1114.95* as compared to Costco at $869.99. Plus Costco has the extra year of warranty, which is worth something.

So, which is the better deal? If you don't want or need installation or delivery and have a free way to dispose of your old dishwasher, probably Best Buy. Otherwise, it's Costco hands-down.

*If you're over ~30 miles from the nearest Best Buy, delivery goes up into the hundreds of dollars and keeps rising by distance. The delivery with installation price rises accordingly.

They are not even the same model, you need to look more careful to claim that Costco is not cheaper

Not my local place. They added a chandelier to the store a couple of years ago.

My Amazon driver's kid has one of these, says the db reading is off a few points. I'm going wait for a Halloween discount before pulling trigger
