This is actually a decent deal depending how you value the dewalt 20v batteries....

It can be broken down as $80 for the 8ah battery ($10/Ah which is standard good deal pricing) leaving $70 for the 5Ah Powerstack battery (comes out to $14/Ah).

For reference, a couple months ago, HD had some Dewalt 5Ah Powerstack batteries on clearance for $75 ($15/Ah) and people were scambling to get them.

Overall good deal if you need the batteries.

That's a great breakdown on why this is a good deal. Not a great deal because the 8Ah (and 10 Ah) are known to be problematic. I got an 8 Ah as part of a kit and didn't have high hopes. Had it for about 1.5 years with minimal usage. Had two sessions recently requiring high draw and it killed the battery. Luckily Dewalt replaced it with little hassle. So good deal if you want to roll the dice on the 8Ah battery.
