Good lord I got the foot pump one. I think it's waaaay overkill for me. Heavy AF...didn't realize it til I carried the box. I'll probably uses this 3 to 4 times a year I imagine. I have a 1.5 ton that was OK. Easy to move around, but this one is so big/heavy. My mind was like, I gotta have it and now I got buyers remorse even tho it's a steal of a deal.

If lighter-weight portability is important to you, then aluminim is the way to go. The downside to aluminum is that it's more expensive.

The 2T Daytona aluminum jack is very light at 43 pounds. The downside is those style of wheels are best suited to smooth concrete floors and the lifting height is limited to 16 3/4".

I just picked up the 3 ton low profile at my store shortly after opening. Nobody else was buying one in my small town and they had good inventory. Don't forget about the free bucket coupon:

Oh my - just picked up the long reach low profile that I've been waiting on to go on sale and now wondering if I should have gotten the superduty. Just saw both have similar reach and jack height but the superduty has 3-year warranty.

I have been watching the price on the low profile, long reach since May, and other than 10% coupons, this is the only time that I have seen the price this low. Back then I was going to get the low profile version when it was on sale, but did some measuring and the long reach version was a better option. Picked one up this morning. Pretty confident that this will be the bottom price.

I recommend using one of these adapter with an impact tool or impact wrench. I have two of these in both of my cars and was able to lift my Subaru ascent up using just a Milwaukee m12 impact tool. Of course an impact wrench is easier, so I bought two Ridgid mid torque for both my cars. They're so compact and easy to store together with the spare wheel in the car.

Don't think about buying this Daytona and keep it in the car. They're heavy and huge.

How quickly can I expect these to be sold out in a decently populated area today? Wondering if it's worth the trip. I wasn't able to find a low prof one nearby during the last parking lot sale.

I picked up the low profile, long reach one awhile back. It's overkill, and too big for my garage, and regret it as my first jack in case that helps anyone make the right decision. But if you have the space and are okay with a heavier and longer one, I highly recommend it.

I just snatched the Heavy Duty model that's $179.99, $107.99 after the deal. I had the same exact thought when I saw the box and thought damn, for 3-4 times a year this is definitely overkill. But then I saw the smaller ones that were either double the price or half the load capacity. For the price, quality and features (quality brand, low profile, 3-ton, rapid pump, max height), I figured the size can be managed. I'll just roll it under one of my workbenches when not in use.

I'm actually looking forward to trying out the RAPID pump - just did an oil change yesterday using a trolley style jack and although better than a scissor jack, the constant pumping with the small handle sucked.

I agree totally. I have one of their, I assume first model, Daytona jacks from 10+ years ago. Ive never greased it and it still works flawlessly.

I picked up the 3 Ton Low-Profile Professional Floor Jack at Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852. This was mentioned earlier but check out Project Farm on YouTube where he rates the Daytona as comparable to Snap-on (different Daytona model though). The store I went to had a lot of inventory but it wasn't near the floor jack display, it was several isles over in the middle of the store. Plenty of color options also. There were at least a dozen of thew model I bought left.
