You're thinking of the 48" C4, or the 55" C3. The 55" C4 has never been this low.

Got an email stating "We've got a price dorp to tell you about" on the C4. I got a $1399 counter-offer for it this time last week. Glad to see they've really shown their generosity with a massive $50 drop....

Yeah, got the same email so I put in an offer. They countered with $1349 this time. There are apparently 2 SKUs of this TV, PUA and AUA. Sam's and Costco (and some others) have AUA which has wifi 6E instead of 5, and a remote with NFC

Don't know the reason but it definitely seems like lg tvs are cheaper this year. Two years ago I paid $1250 for my 55" C2 and earlier this year $2800 for my 77" G3 (they had the G4 for cheaper is I waited two months). Maybe it's the upcoming election or inflation is finally deflation. Either way, hurray for all of us!
