That actually seems reasonable. You ever shipped a 170 lb box? How much was it?
For those that don't know, ITC is HF's annual membership which is $30 for 1 year or $45 for 2 years.

It's well worth it if you shop at HF with any frequency. It gives a ton of extra coupons that are exclusive for ITC members on stuff and every time there is some kind of deal (free stuff, percentage off coupon, etc.), it's enhanced for ITC members. This weekend for example, you get a free 5-gallon bucket with a $30+ purchase for everyone but if you're an ITC member, you get that bucket with any purchase even if it's one of those small $1 items
I always prefered the Husky because they were 24" deep and HF is 18" deep. Well, looks like Husky downsized to 18" also. Glad I have the older 46x24" Husky! https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky.../322631796

Husky advertises 14000 cu in, and HF 10,300 cu. in.

This looks like a good deal from HF.

I bought this box last month and really like it a lot for the price point. I ended up getting it for $280 since Harbor Freight had a rare 20% off coupon for ITC members that worked on anything

Bought this one a few years ago. Works great!

We have one drawer packed with heavy clay, and it still easily glides open and closed.

I was able to pick this up in store yesterday. Even though I'm not a member they applied The $50 coupon. Looks great we'll see how it Holds up to 16 year-old that wants to put all his tools and stuff in there.

Store display is always falling apart on these when I've seen them. It gets flipped regularly in there clearance sales, and a new one gets put out. It always feels really cheap. Metal is very thin too. For context, this weighs 170lb, while the 27" on sale today weighs 209lb.

If you want one for tool storage, get the 27". 27" is solid. This thing feels like you ordered it from Temu.

The US General 27"W x 22"D and 7 drawer roll cabinet is on sale only today for $279. It's bigger than the husky version that's 299.

I can see putting 'tools and stuff" in the cabinet, but your 16-year old? That seems incredibly cruel (unless he is a typical 16-year old PITA).

Are you actually comparing an individual person's shipping rates versus a billion dollar company generating millions in revenue for the shipping provider who have negotiated special rates on this?

Lowes and Home Depot ship the same sized ones for $69 and $79. They seemed to have figured it out. The post doesn't list the shipping nor "pick-up only", which would've been critical information and less of a shock being nearly twice as much as comparable companies. Home Depot's Husky everyday, NON-sale price with shipping is only slightly more then this deal price with shipping. So, unless you absolutely need this right now.....

Husky also has listed capacity as 14000 cu inches vs 10300 Yukon (which seems wrong being the same size, but I don't know), weight capacity 1500lbs vs 1200lbs, and most importantly Husky as soft close drawers AND a power strip, Yukon doesn't. That alone is worth any price difference.

18" seems perfect for my garage since my truck takes up so much space. Couldn't fit a deeper on in. Wish I saw this sooner since it ends today and I'm not about to go out now looking for this. Black Friday is coming soon enough
